“Quantum Compression”

-

Oftentimes, when we think about the word “quantum,” our mind immediately goes towards scientific energy, something far and remote, to explain the phenomena in the universe. But do we know that our God is the very reality of that energy, not only on a grand scale but as small as an atom, to get inside you? The Lord is more than just the Creator of the universe; He is dynamically processed or “compressed” to pack all that He is into us!

So why would the Almighty God put Himself through a process to get into man? Today, mankind is far from the mark of our original design; our humanity has been damaged and twisted by the strong, powerful value of the world. We’re not just in the bondage of the physical world; inside, there is a power that we can never overcome on our own. Why would He seek such a people to dwell with? Why make so much effort to limit Himself within the frame of human beings? How?

God is light (1 John 1:5Gen. 1:3); from the very beginning of creation, He spoke forth who He was and brought forth contrast to a dark universe. And, more than that, is He the light of the world (John 8:12) and the light of life (1:4), and that life was the light of men. This One came and put Himself into our human form, and in His being lifted up as the Son of Man, became that divine essence to come into us, bringing all of the elements of who He is into such a broken part of His creation. Who else can release us from the bondage of sin, not only our outward behaviors but at its very core within us? Only the “quantum compressed” Christ!

So how do we get such nuclear power into us? The Lord made the way for us to take Him in, not as a great and massive acquisition, but as a tiny, small, easily digestible essence — as this energy, the Spirit and His words. What is the best arsenal against our fallen nature? His words. How is the power of sin broken from within us? Through His words. When we take His words, the light comes in! The nuclear power over sin and death is immediately there from the inside out. And all we have to do is believe — even one word can set us free: “If you abide in My word, you are truly My disciples; / And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free” (John 8:31-32).

Today, we don’t have to wait or stay in our defeat or shame — take in this “quantum compressed” Christ in His word!
